About the UVCC

The Upper Valley Cycling Club (UVCC) was established in 2020 to unite cycling enthusiasts in the Upper Valley region that spans New Hampshire and Vermont. Since its inception, UVCC has fostered a vibrant community for riders of all levels, offering a variety of group rides, events, and resources to promote the joy of cycling.

The UVCC is the formal NH-registered, non-profit organization that is run by a board of volunteers. The club secures and maintains ride insurance for club-sponsored rides and covers operating costs through an annual membership (options include a $5 membership fee or a $50 sustaining member contribution). UVCC ride leaders organize regularly scheduled group rides tailored to varying skill levels and interests all throughout the week. Additionally, the UVCC emphasizes the importance of individuals learning new bike-related skills—be it on or off the bike—and offers clinic opportunities throughout the year. Examples of past clinics include the Women’s Bike Maintenance nights, Wilderness First Aid Training, and Bike Cornering and Handling clinics. Through these initiatives, UVCC continues to cultivate a supportive and engaging environment for the local cycling community.
