Class VI Classic 4.0

Description

Have you ever ridden past a decrepit dirt road and thought "I should really see what's down there?" Well now is your chance to find out! Code "UVCC" gets 50% off registration.

The fourth annual Class VI Classic brings back many fan favorites and will be adding many new segments that I'm certain (per Strava) you've never ridden (or pushed your bike through) before. To make things even more diabolical there will be a number of choose-your-own-adventure segments where you can pick harder or easier terrain.

This is a low-key ride with a mostly unmarked course, it's not a race but finishers will get their names on a plaque. 50 km and 100 km distance options. Water caches are placed along the route but the ride is otherwise unsupported. It takes place primarily in Hanover and Lyme. All proceeds will be donated to cancer research via the Prouty.

Thank you,

Joshua Elliott

Some quotes from past riders:

"This event is not fun. Do not do this if you enjoy riding bikes. That being said, I'm obviously doing it." - Anna K

"Josh does not understand how a bike ride works. This course is a testament to his misapprehension. The right equipment for this course is hiking boots." -Michael D

"Class VI, you think you brought the right bike and enough water... but did you? It’s an adventure, bring a friend” - David J

"A backroads tour-de-force" - Hunter S
