Join Mountain Bike Vermont and Woodstock Area MTB Association (WAMBA) for our second annual fatbike fest in Woodstock, Vermont!

Presented by the Woodstock Area Mountain Bike Association, von Trapp Brewing, Ranch Camp, and Mountain Bike Vermont, we're proud to bring you Woodstock's second annual fatbike festival!

Join us Saturday, Frebruary 28th, 2026 for a day of fatbiking, feasting, and hearty brews around warm fires.

What is Widestock you ask? In short, it's a day of fatbike revelry on Mount Peg and the Aqueduct powder-packed single track!

Widestock will be staged out of the East End Parkright behindRanch Camp Woodstock, and a stone's throw from Mount Peg's trail network. A remote aid station, a.k.a the remote party, will be situated at Peg's summit lookout.

Tickets are limited to 250 total. Your ticket price includes the ride, aid station, lunch with both carnivorous and veggie options, and a limited edition print. 50% of Proceeds from the event will be donated back to WAMBA's innitiatives. So pump up those tires, break out the extra layers, and get ready to party MTBVT style... it's tradition!

Participants are also invited to join us on a bonus ride on Friday evening. We'll be headed out to a local network for a social night ride with a little tail gate action after. Details will be released the week of the event to registrants. Woot!

It’s finally here — Widestock Week!

This Saturday, our trails will be on full display for riders from across the Northeast, and we have an opportunity to showcase what makes our riding scene so special.

What will make Widestock truly unforgettable? YOU.

The magic happens when visiting riders mix with our local WAMBA community. Let’s show everyone exactly why Woodstock is such a legendary place to ride — the trails, the vibe, and most importantly, the people.

Come out, ride, connect, and help us raise critical funds to support the club we all love. Good times are guaranteed.

And have you seen the forecast? Friday night’s pre-ride in the ‘duct is shaping up to be a great one. Saturday brings afternoon temps in the 40s — but prime conditions for a morning ride, followed by Ranch Camp burritos and well-earned von Trapp brews in the East End as the snow softens.

Best. Day. Ever.

A huge shoutout to our winter groom team — they’ve been putting in serious work to make this week, and the whole season, epic. Their dedication to creating incredible winter riding for all of us is unmatched.
