Description

As with the SMGR, this week we'll be enjoying the roads close to Hanover(and sharing some of the same ones).

Start: 8AM, Costello Field, Etna

The current forecast for 8AM is 60F and cloudy.

Up our old friends Ruddsboro and dirt King, and down Laramie. Across to Jenkins and Sunset Rock. A short jog up 4, and pick up the rail trail around the lake to Enfield.  Maple to Goss to Tunis to Wolfeboro and then Goose Pond to Baker Hill.  The Thompson wall gets us up onto Three Mile, and then Old Dana and Ruddsboro get us back.

Caution: Going from Laramie to Jenkins with speed means crossing Hardy Hill blind.  I'll go ahead and set up as a spotter so the group can do it safely

Pace will be relaxed -- the terrain is challenging enough. This is a no-drop ride.  I'll mostly ride sweep, so you won't be last.

All riders should have joined the Upper Valley Cycling Club and signed the waivers for 2026:

Riders should have food & water, spare tube/repair kit, etc.  There is a store on the route in Enfield.

Feel free to email me with questions or suggestions.
