Description

If you're new to the area, this is a good introduction to some local favorite roads.  The pace will definitely be relaxed because I'm riding Cabot on Sunday.

Ames - Bradley Hill | 30.7 mi Cycling Route on Strava

8AM start, Norwich green

The current forecast is a brisk 48F and sunny.  We start with a climb.  :-)

Up Bragg Hill and up and over Beaver Meadow to Downer.  At the top, it's the camp trail to Cross to Brook.  Down the Ames Class 4(rebuilt this year, in great shape) to Carpenter and into South Strafford.  Mine to New Boston. Ladeau to the Bradley Hill Class 4 trail.  Bradley Hill road takes us to the Union Village road and the descent back to the start.

Pace will be relaxed -- the terrain is challenging enough. This is a no-drop ride.  I'll mostly ride sweep, so you won't be last.

All riders should have joined the Upper Valley Cycling Club and signed the waivers for 2026:

Riders should have food & water, spare tube/repair kit, etc.  There is a store on the route in South Strafford.
