When Sat May 17 8:00am Sunset 8:11pm Where Union Village Dam Route Dam loops 19.0 miles, 2,100 feet Leader Peter Burghardt Description The Saturday morning forecast for Norwich is now showers and possible scattered thundershowers. I don't want to be an hour out and get unlucky, but I'd still like to try to get a ride in. New plan: Dam loops | 18.7 mi Cycling Route on Strava 8AM at the Union Village Dam. The route is three short loops that all finish at the Union Village dam. We can keep an eye on the weather and if we decide to bail we'll never be far from the cars. The first loop is up the 132/Union Village road to Pattrell and Kerwin Hill back to the dam. The next loop is Campbell Flats to Godfrey to Burham, where one can drop down to the dam or turn up Academy. The third loop is Academy to 113 to Buzzell Bridge to the dam.If the weather holds off, we could add another loop by taking Kibling Hill all the way to Ladeau and then Norford Lake to Stowell, or go up 132 to Gove to New Boston to Norford Lake to Stowell.
