Description

If you're new to the area and don't know the local roads, this is for you!  These are some of the most-used roads in the Hanover area.  Saturday is forecast to be chilly so I'm keeping it short and there's plenty of climbing to help stay warm. :-)

Starting at Costello Field in Etna, we'll go over Stevens and up Hardy Hill and Laramie.  Dirt King, down Ruddsboro, and then up the Etna road to Dogford and back to the start.  17 miles, 1600' climbing.

The current forecast for 2pm is 50F and sunny.

Pace will be relaxed.  I usually sweep and I'm happy to ride at the pace of the slowest rider.

All riders should have joined the Upper Valley Cycling Club and signed the waivers for 2026:

Feel free to email me with questions or suggestions.  If you'd like a longer route I can help with ideas.
