Great roads I haven't ridden enough this year. Woodstock - Brownsville (Ansel loop) | 35.1 mi Cycling Route on Strava 8AM start, Billings Farm/Old River Road parking lot https://maps.app.goo.gl/2NDfBHzYK4uTuZyc7 Current forecast is 53F and sunny at 8AM,climbing to 71F by noon. This is a slight edit of an Ansel Dickey route. Lots of climbing. :-) A flat start on Old River road to the Taftsville bridge. Up Happy Valley and Garvin Hill to Weed, and then onto the steeps of Cream Pot. That earns us the Densmore Hill descent to the Jenneville road. Up Silver Hill and down Cowshed Trail to Sheddsville road and Bible Hill. Over the East Rowe Hill Class 4(optional, there is an easy alternative) to the long rolling climb up Rush Meadow. Morgan Hill over the top, and down through South Woodstock where we climb again on Church Hill. It's a rolling paved descent back to Woodstock and the start. Version without Class 4: Woodstock - Brownsville (Ansel loop) no 4 | 36.7 mi Cycling Route on Strava Pace will be relaxed -- the terrain is challenging enough. This is a no-drop ride. I'll mostly ride sweep, so you won't be last.
