SMGR 9/27 Pomfret-Barnard

With all the other events going on this weekend, the usual SMGR leaders are otherwise engaged.  So let’s take the opportunity to explore some new spots and slow the pace down a bit!

This ride starts and ends at the West Hartford Public Library on Route 14.  It features long steady climbs, fun downhills, scenic vistas rife with foliage, some punchy steep climbs, and a coffee stop!  Co-leaders Becky Fielder and Ben Morgan will be keeping a B/C pace, with regroups at the end of each climb section (Allen Hill at Amity Pond, E Barnard Rd/Royalton Turnpike, end of South Perry, Cloudland/Barber Hill, and Old Kings Hwy at Blue Gate Hill).
