Description

The Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park opens today, so we'll ride past it on today's route.

Augustus Saint-Gaudens (U.S. National Park Service)

Saint-Gaudens Memorial

8AM start at the Plainfield, NH elementary school  https://maps.app.goo.gl/6jNWSV1BnJiRAhu97

The current forecast is 52F and cloudy at 8AM, warming to 63F by noon.

I'll plan to ride the posted route, but there are options if you'd like to explore on your own:

If you'd like a shorter, flatter route: Plainfield -Cornish flatter loop | 24.3 mi Cycling Route on Strava

If you like Class 6s: Plainfield -Cornish w/ Class 6s | 37.8 mi Cycling Route on Strava

This is a no-drop ride.  Pace will be relaxed.  I'll ride sweep, so you won't be last.  If there's a big difference in speed the fast folks can split off the front and I'll stay back.

All riders should have joined the Upper Valley Cycling Club and signed the waivers for 2026:

Riders should have food & water, spare tube/repair kit, etc.  There are no stores on the route, but you can get water at the Saint-Gaudens park.

Feel free to email me with questions or suggestions.
