July 4 in Brownsville means food options right there after the ride!

Brownsville Independence Day Celebration | Brownsville VT | Facebook

8AM start at the Albert Bridge school. The current forecast is 73F and partly cloudy.

This route is an old favorite but I have not ridden these roads this year.  Given the recent rain I'm skipping the class IV section but folks who want to are welcome to do it -- the two options take roughly the same time and rejoin on Rush Meadow.

This is a no-drop ride.  Pace will be relaxed.  I'll mostly ride sweep, so you won't be last.  If there's a big difference in speed the fast folks can split off the front and I'll stay back.

All riders should have joined the Upper Valley Cycling Club and signed the waivers for 2026:

Riders should have food & water, spare tube/repair kit, etc.  The store in Brownsville will be closed for the holiday.

Feel free to email me with questions or suggestions.

Note: The Butcher & Pantry BUTCHER & PANTRY will be closed Saturday, but is a great food option when you're in the area.
