Also took the opportunity to reverse the direction and add some (easily skipped) class IV adventure. Please load the UPDATED route "UPDATE SMGR 8/29 Central VT, reverse, avoid CCC closure" 8am start at Bridgewater Park in Bridgewater, VT (across the street from Gold Coast Rd. off Route 4). I'll lead an A group. Fran will lead a B group. There is spring water in Reading at mile 10 and Chloe's Market in Plymouth at mile 43. There's quite a bit of adventure, as you can see in the route description. A couple of the sections are easy to skip (Nelson Rd & Echo/Amherst Lake) but the others are connectors that make the loop possible and avoid road closure, major roads and traffic. No promises, but all of it should be challenging but awesome and (famous last words) rideable. All other details in the route description. I think the reverse direction will improve the ride by starting with the hardest climb and terrain and ending with a long, gradual gravel descent. Any questions, feel free to reach out.
