Description

Starting from the school, we'll wind our way out for a short stretch on 44 to the start of Rush Meadow road.  The long rolling climb all the way up, down Reeves, up Silver Hill, down Cowshed and Sheddsville.  Across to Coon Club and its short steeps, and then Marston takes us over in back of the old prison.  Up Weeden Hill and a few more to Jenneville, then Kings highway and one more big climb on Blood Hill.  Back across Sheddsville and one more view of Ascutney from Bible Hill before we arrive back at the start.

No pave this week, just gravel roads.  Hopefully Teago Store is open on the 4th or at least we can fill up water at mile 25ish.

Union Village dam start.  Across the bridge and Campbell Flats, Petersen, Hogback and Godfrey.  Burnham, and then the rolling paved climb up Academy.  Then Houghton Hill which becomes the Class 4 Turnpike South and North.  That stretch could be soggy. Quinnibeck, 244, and Lakeshore around Lake Fairlee, then past the airport and out to 113.  The Beanville road to Miller Pond, and then the Sawnee Bean descent to Poor Farm and Whippoorwill.  Buzzell Bridge back to the start.

Bragg - New Boston plus

Description

Up Bragg Hill to Beaver Meadow, and over the top to Downer.  Across to South Strafford, then Mine to New Boston.  When almost back, we'll get a bit more dirt and climbing by going up Douglas to Upper Turnpike, Needham, and Turnpike back to the start.

Start at the West Hartford bridge and climb to Joe Ranger.  Across the Galaxy Hill, and down the Pomfret road to Hewitts Corner. Up and over Allen Hill, then Broad Brook to Sharon.  Quimby to Mitchell Brook to Tigertown down to the start.
