Description

We will leave the Oak Hill lot and head up the hill to Trescott, down Partridge and over to Ruddsboro Rd, where we’ll continue the climb up Three Mile.  From there it’s a nice descent down Ferson to Hanover Center Rd and Rennie Rd, then a right onto Route 10 and we’ll take on some mild Class VI on Shoestrap.  Left onto River Rd and a nice rolling return with just the Chieftain left to conquer before we roll back to Oak Hill for some post-ride pond dipping and maybe even some snacks (BYOB)!

Summary

Simple all road route. Leaving from Oak Hill turn right on reservoir. Around the roundabout to take the bike path into Hanover. Turn right on Maynard. Left on North Main Street and then right on Tuck Mall. Ignore the no entry signs to turn right onto Tuck Drive. Descend the hill carefully, avoiding oncoming traffic and trash in the "bike lane". Turn right to cross the bridge and right onto River Rd. Merge with Rt 5 and settle into 9 miles of paceline. We detour via Pavillion to regroup. Turn right over the Connecticut on East Thetford. At the top of the long hill we turn right onto Lyme Rd to head back to the start.
