Road

A classic! Hanover start, up 10 to River Rd, cross river in Orford, south on 5 to 244, up to Lake Fairlee and Post Mills, back on 113 to Thetford Hill, right on Academy and down to 132, back to Hanover via 5 and Tuck Drive.  Add in a Lake Morey loop if you want to hit 50 miles! 

Plan to regroup at major intersections (River Road/10, Route 132/5) and the top of each big climb (244, 113/Academy).

Two rideable technical sections

Short and sweet! Leaving from the hospital main parking lot, we’ll cruise down to Route 120 and head up Greensboro Road.  Right at the stop sign onto Great Hollow (Old Etna Road) then Labombard to Heater Road.  Left at the end onto Bank Street Extension, then we head up the bottom of Hardy Hill to a right turn onto Sunset Rock Road. A very short stint on Route 4 leads us to the entrance of the Northern Rail Trail at Mill Road.  We’ll take the rail trail back into downtown Lebanon, exiting by the CCBA.
