Road

Leaving the Lakeside Park, the route travels over Shaker Hill, up route 4A to George Hill, left on 4 Corners Rd., and returns on 4A.

Mostly paved ride, road wheels with wider tires would be fine. No Class VI. 

Route differs from previous years between miles 54 and 55 due to a rail trail access dispute. Leave rail trail at mile 54 by going right on Bridge Street, go left on Route 4 for about 1 mile, left onto Depot Street then left at mile 55 onto Cilleyville Road where you'll get back on the original route.

7+ mile paved climb to Mt. Kearsarge trailhead, bathrooms available there. Back down to cafe at bottom, mile 38. 

This is a shorter mixed surface ride. Although total vertical is not signficant there are a couple of steep gravel and paved climbs. Road tires are not recommended, no Class VI roads. Ride goes through parts of New London, Sutton, Wilmot and Elkins.

A favorite route for the WNR C group. Gravel on Reservoir and Dirt King. Lookout for the babbling brook and a waterfall on Ruddsboro. The views from the top of Dirt King can be spectacular before the long, long descent of Laramie and Hardy Hill. Lookout for the right hand bend where Hardy Hill crosses Jenkins and Brook Rd. The road configuration is confusing and you might be tempted to cross the lanes and head up Jenkins, DON'T. If you are unsure then stay with the group and follow someone who knows the area.

Route is about 75% gravel. No Class VI or very difficult climbs.
