UVWCC Oak Hill - Three Mile to Shoestrap

We will leave the Oak Hill lot and head up the hill to Trescott, down Partridge and over to Ruddsboro Rd, where we’ll continue the climb up Three Mile.  From there it’s a nice descent down Ferson to Hanover Center Rd and Rennie Rd, then a right onto Route 10 and we’ll take on some mild Class VI on Shoestrap.  Left onto River Rd and a nice rolling return with just the Chieftain left to conquer before we roll back to Oak Hill for some post-ride pond dipping and maybe even some snacks (BYOB)!

This route is approximately 35% gravel and 65% road, and is best suited to a gravel bike or a road bike with wider tires.  Shoestrap Road (Class VI) is a descent and has some areas of loose gravel and ruts/holes so please ride accordingly.  This section can also be skipped by turning left at the end of Goose Pond Road and making your way back to the start via Route 10/Lyme Rd.
