C Adventure Gravel

Four score and several hills ago, a cyclist set forth upon this noble route, dedicated to the proposition that all roads are not created equal.

Lo, the journey begins upon Shoestrap Road, where the weary traveler first tests their mettle. Steep inclines rise before them, much like the trials of our great republic—unyielding, demanding, yet surmountable with courage and perseverance. Onward they ride to Rennie Rise, where the ascent challenges both body and spirit.

And then, Thompson Road! A climb of 285 feet over 0.72 miles, a true test of endurance, as if the very earth itself resists the cyclist’s passage. But fear not, for every hardship bears its reward. The descent upon “Buckle up Buttercup” brings swift relief—226 feet of downward freedom, a respite from the labors of the ride.

This route, my friends, is not for the faint of heart. But let us be resolved that those who embark upon it shall not have pedaled in vain. That this ride, under sweat and toil, shall produce perseverance. And that cyclists, of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from exhaustion.
