The route then turns onto East Thetford Road, crossing the Connecticut River into Vermont. After crossing into Vermont, cyclists proceed south on River Road offering serene views and a relatively flat terrain. The route crosses back into New Hampshire via the Ledyard Bridge, leading riders onto Tuck Drive and back to Garipay.
