The routes for the WNR C group. More moderate routes than the A or B routes. Shorter and with less climbing and shorter gravel sections. The aim is to start these routes at 5:30pm and complete them before sunset at a moderate pace (14 to 16mph).

Mostly flat, with gravel sections on River Rd. Climbs include Mount Mackenzie on River Rd. and Chieftain Hill on Rt. 10. Be cautious turning left from Rt. 10 onto North Thetford due to a blocked sightline.

Academy/Tucker

The Academy/Tucker cycling route, a 24.5-mile journey with an elevation gain of 2,018 feet.

Route Highlights:

Challenging Climbs: Test your climbing abilities with segments like “Norwich Hills,” a 1.37-mile ascent with a 367-foot elevation gain at a 4.8% average grade, and “Tucker Hill,” a 0.71-mile climb gaining 266 feet at a 7.0% average grade.

Moose/Jones/Shaker Blvd

The Moose/Jones/Shaker Blvd route is a 20.8-mile cycling course with an elevation gain of 1,722 feet, designed by Derek M on May 17, 2023.

Route Highlights:

Shaker Bridge to Rail Trail Bridge: A gentle 0.82-mile segment with a minimal elevation change of 7 feet at a 0.1% grade.

Moose Mt. Rd.: A 2.19-mile climb gaining 394 feet at a 3.4% grade.

Down Moose Mt. Rd.: A 1.74-mile descent dropping 210 feet at a -1.2% grade.
