WNR C

The routes for the WNR C group. More moderate routes than the A or B routes. Shorter and with less climbing and shorter gravel sections. The aim is to start these routes at 5:30pm and complete them before sunset at a moderate pace (14 to 16mph).

Jericho/Tigertown/Beaver Meadow

Description

Eh, what’s up, Doc? So, ya wanna hear about da Jericho/Tigertown/Beaver Meadow ride, huh? It’s a 19.4-mile jaunt with a total climb of 2,074 feet, cooked up by some character named Derek M on April 2, 2023.

Da Lowdown on Da Route:

Hopson: Start off easy with a 1.3-mile stretch, risin’ just 121 feet at a mellow 0.4% grade.

Hopson Hop: Things heat up quick with a 0.31-mile climb, tacklin’ 105 feet at a 6.3% grade.

Rt 5/Academy/Union Village

Description

Ah, the Rt 5/Academy/Union Village ride—a 21.85-mile escapade with 1,583 feet of elevation gain, crafted by the illustrious Derek M on April 2, 2023.  Strap in, dear cyclist, for a journey that promises both sweat and scenery!

The Grand Tour:

1. Church on Time: Kick off with a 0.39-mile descent, dropping 72 feet at a gentle -3.4% grade. Consider it your warm-up slide into the adventure.

Union Village/Academy/Latham/5

Description

This is a 24.8-mile cycling route with an elevation gain of 1,709 feet.

Notable Segments:

1. Norwich Hills: 1.37 miles with a 367-foot elevation gain (4.8% average grade).

2. Willey Hill to Top of Union Village: 1.27 miles with a 361-foot elevation gain (5.4% average grade).

3. The Real Academy: 2.30 miles with a 512-foot elevation gain (4.2% average grade).

4. Bridge to Buzzell: 0.22 miles with a 115-foot elevation gain (9.4% average grade).

Shaker/Ibey/Potato

Description

This is a 22.88-mile cycling route with an elevation gain of 1,599 feet.

Route Segments:

1. Bridge to Bump Sprint: 0.38 miles with a 23-foot elevation gain (1.1% average grade).

2. Shaker Gravel North: 2.15 miles with a 52-foot elevation gain (0.3% average grade).

3. Shaker Flats to Crystal Intersection: 1.74 miles with a 56-foot elevation loss (-0.6% average grade).

4. Ibey Grind: 1.97 miles with a 213-foot elevation gain (1.7% average grade).

5. Grafton Pond - Potato Dirt: 3.21 miles with a 410-foot elevation gain (2.4% average grade).

Lebanon Plainfield

Description

The Lebanon Plainfield route is a 27.8-mile cycling route with an elevation gain of 2,348 feet, offering a moderately challenging ride through the scenic areas around Lebanon and Plainfield, New Hampshire.

Fresh Eggs Bump Half: A short 0.22-mile climb with a 75-foot elevation gain, averaging a 6.4% grade.

Quechee/West Hartford
